Pre-Emergent Weed Control Applications

Pre-emergent herbicides block weed seeds from germinating before they emerge in your lawn. The key with pre-emergents is to get the timing right, choose the right kind for your yard, and apply the herbicide correctly. Coupled with post-emergent herbicides, your yard should remain green, lush, and weed-free.

Grub Control

The key to controlling grubs is to kill them before they hatch and begin to cause damage to your lawn. In spring or early summer, apply a preventative grub control product.  This is especially important if you've had problems with grubs in the past.

Weed Control

Weed control is the prevention or control of unwanted and invasive plants. By effectively controlling unwanted plants, there is less competition for water, nutrients and light for beneficial and desirable vegetation.

Aeration

Aeration is the process of removing plugs of soil in order to break up soil compaction, allowing oxygen and water to reach the root zone. These holes are small – only a few inches deep – and are typically made by simply piercing the ground, or removing small “plugs” of dirt

Weed Control for Ornamental Plant Beds

The program has three parts: Eliminate weeds in and around the growing area and kill seeds or vegetative parts prior to planting.

Fertilization

Liquid fertilizers can be poured directly onto the ground around the root area. Some fast-acting dissolvable formulas can be mixed in with water and can be used for irrigation. If there is mulch on the surface of the soil, you can still apply liquid or granulated fertilizer on top

Seeding

Rake the surface and remove all stones over 1 inch in diameter, rubbish and debris. Shall seed the surface of the ground of all disturbed areas and backfilled portions on each parcel with a fresh, clean new crop lawn seed of “NO MOW’ Lawn seed and must be applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
